Eliminate Waste, Reduce Defects, and Focus on First-Pass Quality

Work

Rework is the result of waste created across our value stream that impedes first-pass quality. Reducing rework and eliminating defects is critical to operating a healthy business. Rework percentage is the measure of our total rework, repair and scrap labor hours over our total production labor hours. A daily commitment to getting things right the first time enables production stability and allows us to deliver perfect products and services to our customers – every time.
